My example/rp journal's Journal

So, I suppose that I should put all that stuff in here that people look for when they search out someone to play against. So...here goes nothing.

About Me:
I've been roleplaying via journals (first on GJ then here) for about 4 years. I've done everything from celeb to fandom to PB. In recent years I've backed away from celebing just because it seems like people in that field tend to take things just way too serious. Or at least in the games that I've been in. I'm willing to celeb in a PSL - NEVER in a community again. I will hold nothing agaisnt people that celeb in communities (I had fun while I was there) but it's not for me anymore. One thing that you should probably know about me is that I like to get to know people. If you don't want to share your name with me, that's cool - I won't push. But I LOVE to talk to the people I play with OOC. If you don't? That's fine, just let me know, I won't push you outside of your comfort levels. It just lets me feel a little more comfortable knowing what lines I can and cannot push with each writer.

AIM/Threading/Email:
I've really always played with AIM. So, for me that's where my heart lies. I feel like for me it means that I'm more likely to respond quickly. My responses in AIM tend to be a bit longer than my repsonses anywhere else - I guess because I'm more used to that. However, my internet can be a little wonky sometimes so well, AIM hates me a lot. I've been getting more and more into threading lately so if that's what you want to do, that's awesome. Email is a great way to RP - if you're willing to try it, let me know. It gives us the same freedom as threading without having to be able to log on to our journals. Anyway, this long drawn out paragraph is me saying I'm cool with anything.

Celeb/PB/Fandom and what faces I'll use:
As stated in my first paragraph, I started out my rping career doing celeb. There are very few people that I will feel comfortable celebing - I'll put them in my list so that you can see that. Please note that I will NOT celeb anyone that isn't listed. For me, celebing involves research and well, there's only a few people I'm willing to go to that extreme for. I've been PBing for about three years now - and I'm far more open with who I will use in that category. I have my favorites just like everyone else, sure. And those will be listed below and almost all of them will be in my icons. However, if there's someone else that you want me to PB for a storyline, just let me know. As long as it's someone that I can find a picture of, I'm there. I am so not picky about things like who I play against or even who I PB myself really. I think it's more about the characters then the faces. Fandom wise, there are VERY FEW that I am okay with being a part of. Check out my list below.

Relationships:
By relationships, I mean what types of couples I will play. Now, keep in mind that I do by no means think that every single storyline has to be a romantic storyline. However, I'm not going to lie. Most of them are. So, with that thought in mind, on the the thing you wanted to know. I will do het, femme and slash. However, please know that I'm still new into the world of slash - still getting my feet wet, persay - so you'd have to bear with me. But it's something that I'm totally willing to try. Also, like I said, I don't think that everything has to be sexual. So if you're looking for something else, friends, family, whatever, let me know!

Also, just to clarify, sex scenes. I will do them. I see no problem with it - it's a natural part of life. If you prefer fade-to-black, that's fine too. But unless you clarify for me, I will figure you feel the same way I do and not worry about it. So, really, it's your preference here and you need to make it known. I wish I could, but I can't read minds.

What I won't do and who I won't play with:
While I've been playing for a while, I've tended to stay at a certain comfort level. Therefore, really, I'm not sure what I won't do. I'm pretty much willing to try anything once. However, everyone has certain lines they will not cross. Therefore, please know that if you suggest something that crosses that line for me, I will tell you. I will hope that you will do the same for me. I can tell you right off that I will not do bloodplay or rape. They just...freak me out. Sorry.

Who I won't play with/against? Well, I won't play against people who are just going to whine or try to control my character. You have your character and it's your choice what you do with him/her. So let it be mine for my character. And really, I can't think of any faces that I won't play against - if you suggest one, I'll let you know if I just can't tolerate that idea.
